1. Agent of the merchant
The merchant appoints the platform as its agent to receive payment from the merchant's customers for goods and services the merchant sells. A customer's payment to the platform counts as payment to the merchant, and the customer's debt to the merchant is settled when the platform receives it.

2. How money moves
Card payments are taken by Stripe and paid into the merchant's own Stripe account. The merchant can cash out to its bank account or debit card. The platform does not hold the merchant's money in its own name.

3. Fees
The merchant pays the platform fee shown on its dashboard on each payment, and the fee for instant cash out when it chooses instant cash out.

4. Bills, splits and tips
The merchant sets the amount of each bill. Customers may split a bill; each share is a separate payment to the merchant. Tips are paid to the merchant, and the merchant pays its staff any tips owed to them.

5. Refunds and disputes
The merchant answers refund requests within 5 business days. If a card holder disputes a payment and the dispute is lost, the platform may take the disputed amount back from the merchant's balance.

6. Where the merchant does business
The merchant does business in California.

7. Records
The platform keeps the record of this agreement, with the date and the address it was signed from.
